Yeah, it seems a bit bare bones/minimal especially considered to all the hoops we had to jump through in the past. I figured there was going to be at least a click-through legal doc of some sort for explaining that racing is dangerous and if shit happens please don't sue the AFM, yadda, yadda, yadda.

At least there was a place to to tell the AFM I'd like to keep my race number.

did not get the email. had to go to motosport reg. signed in and registered. checked the box to agree to terms assuming this is the "legal" paperwork. paid and got a receipt. looks like I'm set.

of course I'm not going to hold my breath and fully expect issues at R1

going to be an epic year!

Huh, weird. First time through I wasn't given any of those options, re-logged in again, and now it put me through the process of pay, number, etc.

Pretty simple, but I'm okay with that

So before it was too hard, now it's too easy?

Seems "too easy" as in "too good to be true". The fact that the email from the AFM says "Keep an eye out for a future e-blast with additional details." indicated to me there's a decent chance of future steps yet to be announced.

So it was too easy and you were warned that there might be an additional step or two. Gotcha, the helpful communication was too much as well.

The club is in a transitional period on just how easy it will be to register. If you prefer you can always get in line at round one. For the love of 2018 can someone please just be happy about ANYTHING? I know it has been like a year (or more, judging by the angst) for some of you have smelled race gas, but for the live of fucking God let's embrace the small things. Next up is the schedule...

I don’t think people are complaining about it being too easy as much as we are worried that we are missing something since it was so easy. If that makes sense....

No one wants to show up at their first race of the season and have a registration hiccup cause them to be sidelined.

For the people that mailed in their renewals, are we good to go?

Whoever got those emails and text weeks ago still have not responded. How about some helpful communication here.

I took a look at "entries" for the 2018 licensing event and everyone listed twice is an AFM official. Does not seem to me to be a glitch but rather a function of these folks having multiple license classes
