Just stumbled onto the Zumo at Garmin's website, and was on my way to post it here, but did a quick search first. Whodathunk?

There's a link on the site for a drawing for a free one when it ships, FWIW.

Looks very cool.

Even for a grand, this is a pretty hot Christmas possibility. I've been looking for a good motorcycle-friendly GPS. Once you buy a Quest II or something and start adding on options (like the motorcycle mount) it gets pretty damned pricy, too.

For $800, it'd come home with me the day it came out.
 
I've found it on Froogle.com for as low as $745...Anyone get one yet? Are they out? Seems like all the stores have them..
 
I'm a GPS junkie :) I bought a Nuvi just a little while ago and it's working out wonderfully! But to be honest, if the Zumo was available at the time I would have swooped on it immediately! :)

Technology always seems to speed up just after I make a recent purchase
