Mark Crane and I have decided to do the Cal 24 again this year. We have made a few changes. You can find out about it at:

The dates for this year are June 13th - 15th 2008. The Start/Finish line will be in Dunnigan Ca.

I want to thank everyone here for their support, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Cal 24.

If anyone doesn't want to necessarily ride the Rally, but would like to participate as a volunteer, please drop me a note.

I just want to make a slight clarification. I have no problem with riders signing up as a team, and they are of course welcome to ride the event together. They can do route planning together also. However, we have a very strict rule against what is refered to as "Team Riding". This would include things like having one rider go to one bonus location and another going to a second bonus, then meeting up to share information so both riders claim both bonus'. The other definition would be to have a person who not riding the rally sitting home with maps and a computer telling the people riding which route to take and which bonus' to get. Things like this are big No-No's would be dealt with severely.

I'm going to register and participate. Don't want to be on the BARF "team" as this will be my first attempt, but do want to keep in touch with the other BARFers who will be riding. Any tips and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
 
I haven't registered yet but I'm also interested in doing this.

I think I'm going to hold out a bit before I commit 100% though since I'd like to wait until its closer to judge my work load vs taking days off.

Don't wait too long. The number of riders is limited and once it's full it gets locked.
