I'm putting together another EX250 maintenance day during spring break for us semester folk. This is the perfect time to get your bike ready for the riding season if you haven't un-winterized it already. And if you need help performing some regularly scheduled maintenance, then head on over.
If you have the new EX250, you guys are invited as well. I know some of us are dying to see what's behind those fairings. I bet you want to take care of that mid-range flat spot and poor idle in the morning.
Don't fret if you have some other bike, you're welcome to come over as well. Henley (CTU Shao) will be working on his EX650 in the afternoon and I expect Bobby (HeavenzJai) will bring over either his VFR-750 or his DR-350. Hopefully someone else there will know a thing or two about your bike.

I should have all of the tools necessary to complete most tasks, including a fork oil level gauge this time around.
I should have a pair of stands come the 22nd and Henley has lent me his spooled rear stand, but if anyone can offer to lend me theirs, we can work on a lot more bikes and I'd greatly appreciate it. Please PM me.Please let me know what you plan on doing that day and come over accordingly. For instance, if you need to do your valves and you ride over at 1600, it's not going to happen. Allow for time for your bike to cool down/warm up.
Also, if you don't want to do the work yourself, I can accomodate you as well. Just PM me.
Just to let everyone know, please bring your own consumables for the bike (i.e. oil, chain lube, paper towels, etc.). I have plenty of oil jugs for used oil. Please give me a heads-up if you plan to change your oil.
There will be food, I just don't know what yet. I have a gas grill in the backyard we can use while the engines are cooling off. If you'd like to cook something on the grill, let me know.
There's also plenty of fruit trees (apples, plums, orange, persimmons, etc.) that you're welcome to pick a snack from.Lastly, the area I live in allows for easy warm up laps.
Yes, I said laps. If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to post.
