Here are some crash pics from my get-off at Sears this weekend.

I'd like to point out that I have no cuts/scratches/broken bones. When I hopped off the bike I over-flexed my knee and partially tore my PCL ligament. My left foot suffered a mild sprain.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Helimot! Holy crap did my Helimot suit and Daytona boots save my hide. Worth every penny!

Was this like your first crash ever? I think this is like the third thread I've read about it :wtf

Thats a pretty hairy split decision to have to make; to bail off the bike :wow

Sorry for repost. This was my 12th crash, but my first high-speed crash I ever had pictures for. Also first crash over 70mph where I didn't need surgery. I felt it was worth putting you through the pain of seeing another post in order to give proper credit to Helimot for making amazing leathers. I hadn't been keeping tabs to see that you'd read through my other thread. :rolleyes

holy crap, that is one helluva sequence. very cool. and it sure does look like you ramped clear over the pavement after launching off the curbing... nice hangtime! Helimot FTW.

.........whatever..............moving on, you need to put all of those shots into a little quick movie jpeg thingy, I'm sure someone could do it easily, then we could see it in action

Yody -- can you point me to a site where I can get the tools to do it? That's a great idea.

Shit, I don't even know what its called :laughing maybe post in the geek/speak forum and ask. I'm sure its quite easy

That's a pretty amazing sequence! Glad you came out ok, and agree 100% about Helmut's work - the best suits in the world, period.

i just realized the other rider in that sequence covered about 50 feet total (on the bike) at the same time you flew about 150 feet. that's what i call a clean pass.

WOW - Its exactly a sequence like that that led me to invest in Helmut's leathers. More specifically it was Siglin's run in with T10 at Sears then later getting pegged in the back at Fontana. I had seen all the anecdotal evidence before, but was on the fence until those two incidences. Two seasons later I don't regret for an instant making the decision.

Helimot FTW :applause

I'm sure you already brought them in for repair, but do you have any damage pictures?

should be cross posted to the TILT thread

Shite. I don't think I took any snaps of the suit damage. It was one busted seam (the kevlar panel in one armpit tore about along about 1". The rest was all cosmetic. No joke -- I didn't do a detailed review, but I don't think any of the stitching had burned through.

Granted, it helps when you slide in the air, as opposed to the ground. :)

i just dropped my suit off to Helmut to get fixed and i showed him this thread so he could check out the pics, lots of oooh's and aaaah's. he told me he was very happy to see that yours came through with no major damage.
