wow, amazing what the new day brings.......(front yard of random house while walking to breakfast)

and....breakfast was interesting, dishwasher took care of us til the waitress they called in got there.

I woke up to this lil gem on the beast.

"we" decided to take the more exciting way into Bodie off of 167 instead of wrapping around 395. It was 3 miles of "pavement" and 7 miles of fun washboard rocky loose dirt.

after the long, straight, boring road to Hawthorne from 395......we relaxed a bit in the hotel......

only to peek out the window and see Bud kickin it with some rally folk....so we joined them.

someone didnt do a very good pre-ride check.

one of those whirl wind money things inside the casino, there's a 100 in there too!

after our last trip on 167 from Hawthonrne to Lee Vining to breakfast, a quick de-bugging was in order.
I held the beastie WOT the whole way, for 55+ miles, sadly I didn't reach my top speed from the previous day of......100.:| Those dang hills just slow me right down...and the high elevation sure doesn't help.

Was Bodie worth the visit? I've passed near enough but never made it out there myself.

Benton Junction seemed like our home away from home on the first two days of the rally. I think I bought gas there three times. A few shots of the area.
