2005 Kawasaiki Z750 - $3900

Bump for a sweet bike. Is the seat on this one shaved?

I used to love my Z1K - still regret selling it, was the funnest bike I've owned.
 
Seat is not shaved. This is the baby brother to the Z1000, and the cool thing is, this bike is a lot lighter and more nimble.

What is the current status of this bike?
I'm pretty interested but in the same boat as a lot of people right now in this economy.
I'd also like to hear about the maintenance on it.
What kind of mpgs are being seen?, is the stock pipe actually available or not? and any other tidbits.
Can someone explain the "selling for a friend" but the "friend" seems to be posting on the thread too?
