Highlights include: Honda hawk frame, custom fab'd sub-frame to accomodate ducati monster seat and cowl, sv rear light, vfr Wheel swap, 900rr shock, 06 gsxr front end, battery relocation and wiretuck (kinda:laughing), shortened exhaust, and moto bars/risers. We're still sorting out the front light situation:rofl (ktm one is temporary), it's between a chopped up 'busa light or some sort of dualies...
Just got her all wired up and running for the first time in over a year and went for the maiden voyage a few days ago. Hoot to ride, sounds good, quiet enough the gixxer brakes are sweet, nice ergos, but reaaallllly needs a clutch and some new tires. Can't wait to get the thing done and dialed.:party

ps. the exposed fuel lines and lack of rear blinkers were a 1 time thing, we just wanted to go ride it:squid

I would bet you will want narrower bars soon though.
I had renthal fatbars MX bars on an new SV with a GSXR front end and it was a pita, I couldn't lane split and you had to move the bars so far to get it to turn due to the swing radius of the wider bars.
it looks like you need to do the vacuum fuel pump mod yet too? it wil clean up under the seat better

Yep, lookin at an sv-pump swap, waaay smaller than the hawk one.

It's been a joint project between a buddy and myself, over the last year and a half. Kinda always on the back-burner but slowly evolving.

I am the owner of this hawk and had a great time watching it evolve. When I picked it up it had some god awful fairing conversion that just didn't fit with the hawk aesthetics. So operation hawk began.
The GSXR front end makes a HUGE difference with prolly twice the stopping power the bike needs. The front headlight is definitely temporary as is the exposed fuel lines. I am on the fence about the SV fuel pump mod since the stocker works fine.
The bars are prolly gonna get cut down a little, like homeboy said, to allow for better clearance when lane splitting and turning.
Hell I am just stoked the ol girl is alive again and running.

P.S. I want to send a shot out to my bud Tristan, who was instrumental in helping me getter done..

Looks good! Those bars are wiiide on that bike though. To me a hawk is a narrow bike. Any intent to trim the bar ends eventually? if not you have plenty of room to hang a burrito or four off the bar ends as you ride it home from Chinos...

EDIT: just caught the last note about bar trimming. Nice project.

Hahaha yes for sure - some trimming is going to happen. I put my burritos in my backpack though! XD
