Too bad all of you couldn't make it. I think they have enough bikes to rent.

Here's a couple of the arrival - but not riding pics. The taxi from the airport was a BMW 730L (diesel) and we were on the autobahn doing 200kmph within 10 minutes of arrival. With passengers driver keeps it at 200 or under, alone he said he can do 250.

The goal by Friday is to post my own photo of this:

Here's what a chain $45/night hotel room looks like - no humans were used when checking in. 100% automated.

Here's two weeks of clothes, and my riding gear still packed.

:confused I thought the EuroBarf Rally isn't till the 19-27th?

N/m - seems like you're doing your own thing... :cool

Nice pics! :thumbup

Yana:banana

Ritch is cheating. :x Big head start. That's okay, we'll see him in Nice in a week. :party

And yes, it will be epic. :cool

Where are you in Europe? Im stationed here in Germany.

We're in Kahlbach (sp?) outside of Frankfurt. Next little town over is Franfurterville or something. My bike is by Heilbronn and I'm on the train to get it, then I get to try out my autobahn skillz yo.

Tomorrow we head south through the Black Forest and then head east to Italy :banana

I'll have pics of my bike and some of the Kawi/Yam dealer, Duc dealer, and dainese store that are all about 50 yards from the hotel. Yes that was on purpose.

Picked up the bike. Autobahn is awesome. Smooth. The whole left lane is for passing only, and no passing on the right thing is really efficient. Wicking the bike up to 190kph (while not that fast) (in a 120 zone) and then being passed like I was standing still was :wow

Here's the little bike facility we're getting the other bike from :laughing someone hide my AmEx.

Everything is amazingly neat and clean (other than greasy hand/forehead prints on the front windows of the bike shop as we've been willing them to open early) roads are really in amazing condition - there were massive warning signs for a section of road that was like a good section of 880.

Not sure on next update, intertube access doesn't seem to be as ubiquitous as it does in the states. And yes I have my GoProHD with 6 batteries, and 40GB of memory- and the bike already has mounts.

EDIT: Just picked up the other bike: a 2010 1200GS - it has 23 kilometers on it :laughing
