Okay all! A pancake eating throwdown is planned! This is our usual Napa breakfast meetup but anyone who wants to duel to the death....errrr...I mean stuff your face with pancakes and see who can eat the most without BARFing...and I mean REALLY barfing..wins! What do you win? Well...pancake eating bragging rights of course!!!

I think Dani (Horsepower) and Greg (Star Man) have a pancake rivalry going on so hopefully they both can make it!

For all other mere breakfast eating mortals..you are welcome to join in and eat, chat and perhaps after do a ride! And even if you don't want to eat breakfast, you are welcome to sit in and join us and chat with fellow riders! Don't know yet if and what ride will be planned, but for now..it is a breakfast meetup!

I'm down... the 21st.... seems like I have something planned that day but will remember closer if it's important or not...

Got my world champion pancake eating victory fork ready to pull off it's rightful place of honor.

Will plan a ride afterwards too if people are up to it... though I'm not sure how fast a pace one can set when he's got 10+ pancakes in his belly....

Yes... your looking at that correct.... Skaggs road!

Cruise up 29 after a full on pancake destruction with some full bellys, stopping in calistoga for a fill of the gas tanks, 135 miles to the next scheduled gas stop from this point.

Cruise over 128 to healdsburg and cut over to lake sonoma, stopping at the vista point overlooking the lake and regrouping.

SKAGGS!!!!!!!!

Regrouping on the other side real quick and then stopping at Stillwater Cove...

From the cove just heading back towards petaluma through bodega, ending at the in and out for gas/food and goodbyes...

Length of route, 166 miles
Total seat time, 4 and a half hours
Expected return, 4-5pm depending on gabbing

Denny's is having all you can eat pancake's for just 4 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a deal..but I think the main pancake challengers would want quality over quantity....Highway 29 was requested...but I don't eat pancakes these days..so cannot attest!

If I recover from the most awesome Curve Unit BBQ in San Jose 12-5pm includes Kinders BBQ, DJ Spin Dizzy, dancing, and raffles galore for prizes that will knock your riding gear off! Every nickel goes to the PBTF (Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation) I will be there. Haven't had a decent pancake in ages. As long as Hwy 29 Cafe has tall glasses of ice cold milk!

Couldn't resist the opportunity to plug a great event!

Hey all! Hopefully we have some pancake eating madness..or just some good breakfast and hit the road on a ride.

Since koi had posted the ride idea..I have gone on Skaggs rd and I don't wish to do the road again for now..after almost getting creamed by a car on the really "goaty" part on teh ocean side...uggh...no.

So our Curve Unit ride yesterday wound through some pretty areas of Guerneville....Bohemian Highway..etc...so I am thinking of revising this route a bit and have it start by going through Petaluma and then over to Guerneville..out to coast down through Bodega Bay..and then loop back perhaps through Novato or Petaluma again..not sure..just thought of this last night after the ride.

Stay tuned! Breakfast still on..but stay tuned for new route!

Okay..here is the new route mapped by Koi! Since he is still on "forced vacation" from BARF...he cannot edit his original map until middle of this week, but I wanted to get it up now.

I wanted to skip Skagg's for now but still do some coastal route. Koi mapped out a nice route that will allow some time for pics along the coast as well as a late lunch/early dinner stop back in Calistoga..

Nothing wrong with having two different rides after breakfast, if there is demand for that.

Nice route..sorry you won't join us..

Won't really be but a fwe people..unless there are last minute lurkers...so splitting into multiple routes..well..that means only a few people per route..but to each his own..this is really about teh breakfast meet up as usual..after that...you do your thang...join the planned route..or go your own way.

We do Berryessa so much around here...I need something new once in a while...
