Destination: North Coast
Estimated 3-Day Mileage: 800+ miles

All makes welcomed.

Please note that this is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no officially designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with pre-determined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The official daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers and BARFettes along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their own choosing, and at their own risk.

Three-Step Sign Up by June 6, 2013:

Step 1. Make your room or camping reservations for 6/7/2013 and 6/8/2013 (departing on 6/9/2013).

Best Western Country Inn
2025 Riverwalk Drive
Fortuna, CA
About $80 to $100 per night (taxes not included); best rates if reserved online (Look for "Internet Only Rate" on their page. If you don't see it listed on the "Standard Rates" tab, click over to the "Discounts & Packages" tab. If that doesn't work, go here and find a room in Fortuna, CA.)

Riverwalk RV Park
For tent camping or log cabins, call 707-725-3359 for reservations. This facility is right next door to the Best Western Country Inn metioned earlier. See rates here.

For overflow, you may also consider the nearby (within stumbling distance) Super 8 Motel, Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

Step 2. Once you have made your lodging reservations, please register as a rally participant following this link. It takes a only a few minutes :)

Step 3. In a couple of hours after your registration, you will receive a confirmation containing instructions to access the Rally Forum.

If you can only manage a hall pass for two days, no problem – book a room for Saturday, and ride out to Fortuna, CA for the event’s dinner celebration that evening. On Sunday, enjoy some company for riding some of the best twisties between here and Oregon.

Come and meet your fellow BARFers and BARFettes.

Come for the fun and company.

Your responsibilities

Sign-in and Check-in
Be aware that we do have a sign-in/check-in policy. Please refer to the Participant’s Package when it becomes available.

Early Departure
If, for any reason, you decide to depart early from the rally, you must notify a rally coordinator, or ask another participant to relay your intent to a rally coordinator.

What’s a Rally?
This is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with pre-determined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers and BARFettes along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their choosing, and at their own risk.

You are responsible for yourself
Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. You are responsible for your own safety. Proper riding gear, a valid CDL/M1, vehicle registration and proof of insurance are highly recommended. You are also responsible for the good operating condition of your motorcycle. The good condition includes general mechanical condition, as well as the condition of wear items such as chains and sprockets, brake pads, and tires. In short, YOU are the Captain of your own ship.

Expenses
You are responsible for your own expenses. Budget for lodging, entrance fee(s), gas, food, beverages, and anything you may need along the way accordingly.

looking forward to this!!

In. PM inbound.

Edit: Just booked a 2 room cabin (sleeps 6). If anyone is interested in rooming with me, let me know. The beds have mattresses, but you would still need blankets/sleeping bag and a pillow. It is $72/night + 5/per person over two people. Currently, I have 5 spots open. PM me if you want a spot and I'll save it for you. (p.s. I'll have my CPAP with me, so I won't be snoring :twofinger)
