The Curmudgeon
UPDATE!!
As a few of you may know, I blew my XR, again.
I don't have the time, nor patients to screw around with this thing again.
It's the perfect bike for the BARF Baja ride
$2100
As it sits now. I've lost motivation.
Gets you:
Titled and Plated 650L with Dirt Wheel's!
Less than 800 miles on rebuilt suspension (Wipers, seals, oil, front and rear)
It has the much sought after 2004 CRF450R front end conversion with Applied Racing triples.
Too many new parts to list...
Air filter, chain, bar, grips, battery, CDI, repacked muffler etc.
I ripped the bike apart and replaced pretty much everything when the motor was out getting tinkered with the first time.
I talked to Steve (XR Guru motor builder in SF) he will cut me, or the next owner, a special rate on tearing the motor apart. If you are to use this for Baja it would be the perfect bike to put the NX gears in it, which Steve is known for. 400-700 dollars is the usual fee for a rebuilt 0 miles 0 hours motor.
PM me if you're interested.
I can also throw in the Excel 17" set up for another $600 dollars.
