Revisions that came into my hands late Friday are exactly what we wanted from the beginning of the AB 51 process.

Codify Lane Sharing.
No speed limits.
Let the CHP re-engage the Guidelines.

in simple terms that what the revisions to the Bill do.

It will be submitted to the Senate Transportation committee on Tuesday.

Get ready for a full court press on your Assembly Members to vote in favor of the Bill!..

However. The group as a whole invested a lot into this. I know I got a 100 hours and so much of my heart into it. Surj is similar. Throw in AMA, ABATE, Coalition of clubs and more and you have a lot of people that really cared about this issue.

I care so damn much I feel foolish that I am not a Moto commuter. :p

However I rep many and the effort given for this result was 100% worth it.

Turns out we are two weeks from the Transportation committee hearing.
Waiting for "official" wording to fully declare support as they came back with a support statement that they would like to see.

Considering I was "the guy" who suggested the Guidelines and education on lane sharing after banning lane sharing was proposed by the DMV. I really hope to stay engaged in this. About 15 or so Barfers were involved in the lane sharing summit to help create the guidelines with Silversvs being the lead. Been a 5 year journey to here.
