For sale is my 1992 Honda CBR600F2. It has 25000 miles on it and is located in Hayward. I purchased it in Seattle last year and spent months getting it mechanically sorted out. It is ready to ride and needs nothing, though the suspension is quite old. The plastics are all original and aside from a few scratches look amazing. Honda sold tens of thousands of these bikes but few survive today, and even fewer in this striking retro color scheme. I have never dropped or raced this bike. It's just a weekend toy--I commute on a different bike.

I've kept the chain lubed/adjusted and changed the oil every 4000 miles. Evolution Motorcycles in Santa Clara cleaned, synced, and dyno-tuned the carbs after I added the Yosh pipe. The original swingarm had a lot of pitting/rust, so I got a pristine one on eBay and installed it myself along with the rear shock from a CBR600F4i which is adjustable but also added about an inch and a half of rear height. If you are especially short, I have the original shock, too.

Upgrades:

- Iridium purple windscreen
- Adjustable levers
- Faux carbon fiber triple tree clamp cover
- Yoshimura stainless steel slip-on muffler
- F4i rear shock (original included)
- ProJection Components lightweight aluminum exhaust hanger (original pegs included)
- Solo seat rear cowl
- Aluminum tank mount for camera/gps/phone
- New rear brake pads June 2018
- New Michelin Power RS rear tire June 2018

Extras:

CBR600F2 Magazine ad/poster
PDF of factory service manual
Matching Dainese leather jacket (!)
Matching 90s windbreaker
CRG clutch lever
OEM brake lever

Clean title. Registered until 2019. Test rides with M1 endorsement, cash in hand, and signed agreement to buy if you bring it back damaged. If you have any questions about the bike, please email me. I AM NOT A MOTIVATED SELLER so please don't lowball me or play games. I love this bike.

Sweet!!! F2 was my first bike :) GLWS

A friend had one exactly like this one. He put 97k miles on it before crashing it. During the rebuild we put another motor in. Not because it was running bad , just got a deal on a low miles motor. My son bought it and put many thousands more miles on it. The only problems encountered were the common Reg/rec problem , fixed with a Polaris r/r and a Triumph harness. One of the best, most balanced bikes out there. Very rare to see one in such good shape.

Mad

That’s awesome, but I think we all need to see that matching Dainese jacket!

Do i have to buy the bike just to get the windbreaker?!

My 1st 600 was a 94 F2. Great bikes. GLWS!

Jesus Christ, what a beautiful time machine. If I were a Honda guy I'd leave work right now and get it.

I had a Red/White one of these in Berlin in 91/92 really fun bike. Good luck with the sale

Good choice for a first or second bike.

Incredibly stable and easy to ride.

GLWS.

That is the most 90s thing ever! :laughing GLWS it looks very clean!

I know vanilla Ice rode a GSX-R but I'd be cooking up EmCees like a pound of bacon on that bike!

Rad bike, someone is going to get a totally tubular deal!
