It's been a crazy month of early mornings, late nights, emails, phone calls and more than anything else - seemingly endless hard (but fun) work. I'm very pleased to share with you the result of that effort...

BARFracing

BARFracing will play host to an amazing concentration of information in what I believe is a very easy and friendly site to browse. BARFracing has everything (I hope) that you can ask for...

Breaking News through subscription channels and original content from contributing journalists, Up-to-date Standings compiled in real-time and readily available, Race Results for all covered series with accompanying articles, a dynamic Event Calendar with a past/present/future summary, original Feature Articles offered up by veteran racers and trackday junkies, comprehensive Rider Profiles (when we can get the information, that is), Track Information with turn-by-turn walkthroughs and video laps (on the way), and much much more!

The BARFracing team will be covering the AFM season with race reports, interviews, photos, and even video coverage of the events. We are working with the AMA and Infineon to offer the best possible coverage of the Kawasaki Superbike Challenge in May, and if that works out we should have equally exciting coverage of the SBK and AMA event at Laguna Seca in July. Unfortunately, we will have to rely entirely on second-hand channels for MotoGP coverage.

I am hoping that those of you who read 6 or 7 different sites to get all your racing information are able to find everything you need at this one stop... if not, I'd like to know what to add.

In response to recent feedback here at BARF I have put forth an extra effort to keep the interface as clean as possible, while at the same time, linking to everything possible so that you can get just about anywhere on the site quickly, and logically, in 2 or 3 clicks.

Additionally, BARF/BARFracing has joined the list of sponsors for MikeyJudkins in his 2004 AFM efforts. GO GO GO MIKEY!! :burnout

I hope you enjoy the site. I know I've enjoyed working on it and the team of volunteers helping with the site has been an incredible asset and treat to have on board. Thank you to all of them (Budman, Baptistro, MrCrash907, GaryJ, 97rr, AmbitiousOne) and to all of you who have already submitted profile information, links to articles, and all the other things that have helped to develop, test, and launch this project.

-Steve :tsc

BTW, if you are interested in helping out with BARFracing please let me know. There is plenty of room for journalists, stats keepers, track experts, biographers, etc.

Yes ! Now a nap?? :tsc :thumbup

Nice job boss..I am sure it will develop into a great place for Moto Info!

Now that I answered the 20 or so backed up PMs I can take a break from computers for a week or two! My eyes are like 2 inches away from the screen 'cause my vision is so blurry! :nerd

yeah, thanks Steve. I can't say enough about the stuff you've done for local riders, riders everywhere. I really hope that someone takes notice of what you're doing and pays your ass so you can take a rest.

just as a suggestion, maybe it would be easier if you listed the AFM racers who are registered to BARF along with their SN's.

unforutunately, Im not too familiar with who is who in the AFM, but I would like to know more about their profiles if it would be easier to find them.

Whoa Steve. Great web-site! I didnt realize you were planning to create one-stop motorycling heaven.. :thumbup :D

Keep up the great work!

That's a great idea. The profiles, along with other information, will get more fleshed out as suggestions like this come in. I am compiling a list of fields to include for the AFM guys -- BARF usernames will happen for sure! Then we can display them at the AFM profile list page

Thanks for the suggestion!

I 'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to SteveCo, Budman, and the BARFrace crew for giving me the opportunity to ride as a sponsored BARF racer in '04!

After finishing off the '03 season with some difficult times (injury crash at Buttonwillow followed by a blown motor), the surprise I got today was an absolute awesome thrill.

I cant wait for the season to start! :banana :Port :teeth

Steve, I'll be PMing ya real soon after you have had a chance to rest your eyeballs from the screen (hope to see you when I get my motor from Bud tommorrow)

I don't know much about racing nor AFM or standings but I'd make a darn good cheerleader for one of our BARFers!!!!
Steve, you da bomb!
Melissa : )
