Nice bike.

I can't believe you can't get a passenger backrest for that bike. I've seen them on Busa's.

Thanks! I've actually never seen a backrest on a 12. Corbin doesn't make one, nor do any of the other well-known seat makers. The Ventura bags provide a somewhat last-ditch safety backrest, but they're not built to be leaning against. While a backrest, if it were to exist, would potentially help, it wouldn't deal with the myriad other issues that make the bike less than optimal for 2-up riding several hundred miles / day. These include a seating perch for the passenger way up over the head of the rider, high rear pegs that require passenger knees to be quite bent, and the forward lean of the overall seating area that causes the passenger to need to lean against the rider much of the time. The bike rocks for 1-up sport-touring, I've done one 1100 mile day, as well as quite a few 1000+ mile weekends, with no complaints. Thanks for looking...

Come on BARFers, doesn't anyone need a ground-based ballistic missile that happens to go around corners pretty well? I'd really like to sell to one of the fine folks that frequent this board, before diving into the morass of craigslist bike sales... Thanks for looking!

Trade for a DR650? The wife will love it!

She's already become quite partial to the RT, sorry... :cool

<-------- (250 is all hers...) :teeth

But she prefers to ride in back for anything > 150 miles...

Hang in there. The market's still cold at the moment, I'm having trouble selling the DR as well (though that 12 is a much nicer ride!)

They were taken in a few different places, but all in California. The first two of them were taken in Coalinga, the next was on the way back from a southern California ride, and the last was on the way out to Death Valley.
