I talked to my friend/instructor who owns a Karate school in Pleasant Hill. He's down to host a gathering for Martial Artists to come together and spar/grapple/work on techniques etc. etc. I say ride your bikes down! My instructor rides too :)

It'll be a mellow attitude, leave your ego at home. Come play nice, play rough...but play. People of all skill level are welcome. At the minimum, bring a mouthpiece, groin protector, and some form of hand protection. Its free to all, so if you guys have any questions, please feel free to post up or PM. I have posted this on a couple of other forums I visit, so Im hoping for about 15-30 people to show.

woah..does this include jiu jitsu ? =D i dont mind trying out my combination of taekwondo and jiu jitsu on some people..and of course i play nice.. =)

Of course not! :kicknuts Heh, just had to put that icon in...I think its funny every time I see it. Besides, I dun think I can beat anyone up...Im a 5'6 175lb Chinese guy :p
 
I've always wanted to see Krav Maga in action. Looks fun! Come on down. And if I remember correctly Krav Maga = Israeli Military Martial Arts

I guess, but its more just get together and spar or grapple or do what ever you want. Its you and your partner's rule set. It'll be good fun.

I actually checked out your dojo a couple of years back when I was doing yet another re-entry into the art. Very similar to my own system. Looked like great training, but I ended up with my old sensei.

I checked out the Walnut Creek Krav Maga school recently and was eager to give it a shot, but I stumbled on to a traditional dojo that just moved to my area.

I guess this old dog can drag his lardass over there.

Count me as a definate "maybe". I just got clobbered at the IKS Fiestas, my lack of ring time was really apparent :blush I could use some instruction :laughing
 
I edited the first post to say that you need to bring mouthpiece, groin protection, and some form of hand protection.
