I love going to Hare Racing - I'm always treated like a valued customer.
My husband's VFR needed an oil change before we leave on a three-week ride to Alaska, but he's got other stuff he needs to attend to, so it was up to me. I read the manual, verified that I knew where tools for the job were, and read the manual one more time. I decided that this was something I didn't want to mess up, so I called Hare Racing and asked Gunther if I could watch the oil change process.
Watching Fred work is a pleasure. There is a sureness about how he handles his tools and the bike, it all happens in a smooth, orderly, efficient manner.
Prying out the clips on the underside of the bike has given my husband fits in the past. Fred also found them remarkably uncooperative, so he drilled the holes a bit larger to accommodate a set-in screw well which will make the body work removal much easier next time.
The customer service is great, the work is the best and the prices are reasonable. Check 'em out! [They are at their new location on Old Middlefield Road in Mountain View]. http://www.hareracing.com
