I know that there are quite a few of you F4i people out there :teeth :twofinger and I was wondering what, if anything have you done to your front seat to make it more tolerable for longer than 30 minutes. Rinda_girl's only complaint of her new bike so far is the plank of a rear seat. :laughing

I'm hesitant to suggest a Corbin, b/c she's already short of stature and the dish-seat of the Corbin is wider than stock and would make the bike seem even taller for her. Plus that ridge sits right in the crack-o-da-arse if you start hanging off. :laughing

Has anyone experimented with getting it reupholstered with a thicker or softer padding? Suggestions welcomed, especially with local shop recommendations/cost if you had it done.

Thanks. :thumbup

I was thinking of going with a Corbin, but I hesitated since I sit right next to the tank, where corbin seat pushes you farther back. Then I read somewhere that your ass gets used to it after a while, and somehow mine got used to it too.

Mine seemed to break-in after a couple of months.
No big deal now...

RE: Corbin seats... IIRC, people were saying they're not a very good idea, if you plan on going to the track or doing any twisty riding. I've heard that the Corbins make it a little difficult to hang off the bike....

yeah, you'll get used to the pain. I've been on a couple long rides, (one being almost 700 miles in a day), and it sucked.
It usually gets uncomfortable after 100 miles, but worse on freeways. For some reason, I dont notice it in the twisties, cause I'm moving around more.
Good luck.

Once the numbness kicks in, she won't feel a thing.:teeth

Here is a thought, eat more. If you eat more, all that excess fat can go to the booty. Instant cushion.:teeth

Yea, there are alot of F4I owners but how many have the rare Red and Black color scheme. :twofinger :teeth :kicknuts

hmmm.....eat to make her skinny 'lil booty fat.... I don't think I like that idea. I like her booty just how it is :teeth

HON!?!....the answer is.....deal with it! :shhh ;) :shhh

Beside's she's got the rare yellow and black, which seems like only the female barfers have (f4ichic, DA, etc)

nope, I believe DRZ has a yellow one.:teeth

I've been told that when you're riding a bicycle and your ass gets sore it's the little fat globules you sit on breaking apart :barf

Sure enough, after a couple hundred miles, you burn off all that fat and you've got an ass of steel.

Either that or it just turns to leather.

Food for fodder.

suck it up Rinda

well, not literally :laughing

get the corbin if ya want to do some touring stuff, but dont get it for twistie riding. i did, and Dragon fookin took it off and put the stock seat back on cos he said i would never hang off with the corbin. Little does he know I will never hang off - period :twofinger

My arse hurts after riding, but varies depending on how much

just get yer man to massage your arse after a good long ride, and before a good long slow ride I might add ;)

No problem hanging off. Actually it kinda gives you a lip to hang your ass off. Are you talking to one of those big booty F4ichicks?:teeth
