Okay, first off... please excuse my ignorance. I have a 01' F4i, for those that don't already know.

This is what I want to do... if you guys could tell me where to get them from, and about how much to spend, I'd really appreciate it.

I know I need an Eliminator Fender Kit... Werkers? I saw some on parts411.com for like $99.

I also want to get flush-mount blinkers for the front, and small blinkers for the rear. Where should I get those?

M4 exhaust... I found a F/S Titanium (std. mount) for $741 @ redlite.com. Is that a good price?

Thanks in advance...

uriah, i got the CW fender eliminator :) i paid a little more and bought it from twobros in socal. the only real benfit was every time i order from them it usually gets here in like 1 or 2 days! if you want help installing it, holla. come over to sf and we can scream at it together. its a bit of a bitch to install.

as far as flushmounts and blinkers, goldengate honda her ein the city has a good stock of lp stuff and so does scuderia west. i wouldnt bother ordering easy stuff like that online.

dunno about exhausts but you can buy a remus titanium here in the city today no waiting ;p prolly around 575-600 bucks.

I got the werkes fender eliminator for my zx6r, i wasn hugely impressed with it though, after cutting the fender spraying the metal plate black and installing it it didnt mount flush, but that was my own fault cos i cut it slightly crooked. Plus i only copped after.....that theres a gap between the cut fender and the plate which no matter how well you cut it will always be there. I used duct tape and liquid electrical tape to patch it up, you'd hardly notice it. but it is a bit of a podge job. Id go for a more expensive one if i could go back.
Just like engine parts you cant skimp on body work. the whole idea is to make ur bike look decent and if you buy cheap shit you wont be happy.

I have two lockhart phillips flushmount blinkers here, you can have them cos ill probably never use them. they're the dogs bollox i really like them on my bike, stock blinkers are a pile of shite.

im not sure whether 01 f4i has dual tail lights, does it?
the zx6r does and i got an integrator kit from http://www.motomatrix.com/ to use the tail lights as blinkers so i coudl get rid of the other ones, and i also love how that looks, but again its messy inside. If you're at the meet on wed ill show u all this shit if u want, u need a bit of an electrical head on ya to fit it though cos once u cut those wires theres no going back.

werkes (cw) has a piece of sheet metal for $139. http://gallery.bcentral.com/Gallery/ProductDetails.aspx?GID=2755356&PID=826951&page=2&sortOrder=0

Hard racing has the cw for $119. http://www.hardracing.com/FEKit.htm

Extreme graphics is more, $289 painted, but looks awesome. http://www.extremegraphicfsmd.com/indexeng.htm

Mototeck has an expensive $339, OK looking undertail. and nicest flush mount lights for $50.
http://www.mototeck.com/

I also found the lights on their homepage, http://www.lockhartphillipsusa.com/MENU.html

IV MARKER medium front signals look really cool, cant find a price.
http://www.second-look.com/sboutfitter/turn_signals/turn_signals.html
They also have a tail light integrater kit, to get rid of your rear signals and make one side of your tail light flash, for $59.

I think extreme graphic undertail looks the smoothest. If you get a full exhaust, will you have to do anything with the FI, or will it adjust itself? I believe it will adjust a little for a slip-on. (I hope).
Also our front signals (flush mount) need to be 1" x 2" to fit in the old fairing cutout areas, and I cant find one.

(and yes, I was bored this morning.)
Good luck and I may join you guys monday morning.

hey Uriah,

If you want to save a little dough on the fender eliminator kit, below is a tutorial on how to create you own. It's based on a F4, though I don't think it's that much different for a F4i. I've not done it myself, personally, due to still building on my tool set.

Just some thoughts to help you out if you just want to remove the fender but not necessarily want to splurge on a nice undertail.

As for the lights, ditto on what they said above. Most peeps I see have the LPs. But you may also want to think about a modulator that makes your rear brake flash for a few seconds while stopping to get attention from the driver behind. It blinks pretty fast and slows down until it's just steady. Max Smiley has one. I plan on doing this mod also in the near future.

If you want to integrate your tail lights though, don't bother with the one LP sells. You can go to your local auto store and pick up a trailer integrator box for $13. It's the same thing. LP just rebadged it and jacked the price.
