ho hum, here we go again. First off I start sanding fairings, gonna paint em, now taking the fender off, maybe take the wheel off, might do an oil change

and to think a week ago all I would do was bloody ride a bike

Thats half the reason i got rid of my f4i it sucks to work on...

BS, pull harder.
just jerk it out! (the fender)
I've taken mine off more than I can remember, and never removed the wheel.

funny...but true. You can take the wheel off, but you don't have to. The fender is in there with very little clearance but you can pull it off without dropping the tire. Just squeeze it a bit before pulling. It'll come out no problem. :Port

Yo Wendy... You don't need to take the wheel off. As SRAD said, just squeeze it together, and you'll be just fine.

Sorry Wendy....I guess you dont need to...but i take care of my bike... and i guess not lazy enough to just pull harder! :teeth

Yup, pull the bolts, squeeze a little at the narrower rear section.. comes right out..

Take the wheel off... now that would be a PITA

remove bolts

squeeze fender slightly pull firmly there you have it

Kevo must know the trick to pulling harder and squeezing it at the same time cos he came home and it went off in his hand the minute he touched it :laughing :laughing :laughing
