Anyone know where I can go to have swingarm spools installed on my F4i? I've heard that a welder has to do it but don't know where I can find one that will do a good job. Any help will be appreciated. Hoping to find one somewhere close to Vallejo but anywhere in the Bay Area will do. I just want it done right. Thanks!

MR RPM down here in San Jose does it, I think. You're keeping your bike? :)

Thanks! Yeah, with the weather becoming really nice, I've decided to commute with it again. Had her up for sale for a couple of weeks but only got low ball offers and such. But I'm happy to keep her.

Anyone else have any suggestions?????

If you could, post how much mr. rpm quotes you to install spools (If he doesn't mind either), I'm adventully going to get a rear stand, and if the price is right, I'll go for spools (never can be too safe)

Hell do it your self and save money, I did no problem... Use lockhart & philps button kit, heavy duty-highspeed drill and the RIGHT kind of drill bit and it took only 30 min. only because I mesured 15 times instructions are real good too , :teeth

Yeah, I actually thought about doing it myself. I asked Mission Motorcycles if they had any spool kits and the guy looked at me weird and told me that it's not wise to do it that way. Welding is the way to go...from what he said. And at the same time, this is something I do not want to mess up on. So I think I'll go with the weld.
