I have been invited back to the Livermore Chili-off this year. After our winning efforts last year at The Sunol cook-off, Livermore said they would block off one of the streets next to the park for Barf members. I have not asked for this to happen until I find out if we will have a good turn out. I do not want a street blocked off and have 3 bikes there. It is being held on June 5th in downtown Livermore. If someone wants to organize a show & shine that day to make it a huge Barf event that would be something I can present to the organizers for the cook-off. Let me hear what everyone thinks.

More info Here: http://www.bvyr.com/ then hit Chili Cook off.

I just wanted to update this post.

Date: June 5th

Time 12:00 noon

Place: Carnegie Park, 4th and J st, Livermore, Ca.

Parking for bikes will be on J or K st, it will be assigned that morning.

Price: Free Tasting tickets were $1.00 a ticket last year.

For those that plan on being apart of the booth, I will have a cooler in the booth for anyone that wants to bring drinks or beer instead of buying it there.

Git yo BARF chili heeeeere! BARF chili!

That was great last year ... everyone needs to get their ass up for this one! Count me in.

I think a stunt show would be kickass ... fun for the whole family, especially the daughters. ;)

We did win the Sunol cook-off last year but I did have my first loss last year in Livermore. There is no way that my chili was not one of the best at that compition. Someone said that it was rigged. It doesn't matter. I plan on a better showing this year and I will not take anything less then 1st place. The more supporters we have the less chance they have on screwing us. I even lost the peoples choice award to the Livermore Harley Davidson shop :mad . They had one street blocked off for them. We will have our own street reserved for us so I want a good showing.

One more thing. For those have not been to a cook-off with me. I do make it a team event. We all get to have fun and it will be a huge party in the booth. More details will follow as it gets closer.

I'm there.

whats a show n shine? is that like a bikini bike wash?
if not can we have one of those anyway?

sounds good Mark. just make sure to post a thread several weeks before it with all the details.:thumbup

Sounds Great!
I'm in!
CHILI! :bbq :flame

If a closed street stunting is shot down by the city maybe see if you can organize a fiddy supermoto.
And fiddy stunts.
I would suggest being prepaired to "counter" their denial of stunts with teh fiddy idea.

You could say something like... but their soooo cute! The kids will love them!
:Port
:thumbup

Post up more before the cookoff, but Im sure the wife and I will be there :thumbup

Count me in, I'll see who else I can drag up from Monterey. I also think you should get stunting.

A show and shine is what they call a small car show where it is more of a bragging rights then prize gathering. Just get everyone out there with their rides and let everyone show off what they got.
