damn damn..
all i did was installed my after market signal lamp and my bike wont start (battery died, chraging now)
but what made my battery died....? can after market signal lmap drain battery power w./ incorrect installation?
ok...there is 3 line for each siganl lamp 1 line is for power(stays on when i turn my key to on) but i didnt connect thos b/c i just wanted to work that thing as blinker.... can that cause the problem??? my blinker works fine....i dont know what the hell is going on.....i just pluged my battery tender.
please help!

btw my bike is 2002(i dont think its bad battery)

u check fuses? i did that on my bike and i shorted out fuses by wires hittin metal

i charged my battery and it started, but i still dont know what made my battery drain... so i connected the power line (one on my signal lamp) back on. we'll see how things go tomorrow..if my battery dies again im pretty sure it wasnt my battery.
ill check fuses too.

i think he meant loose wires dangling hit metal and drain your battery that way. you don't have to connect the extra wires just cap them suckers off.

well i taped it w/ black electric tape.... if it wont start again today it might be something else...
i actully connected thos line back on the signal lamp. (just incase)

are the resistances, wattages, etc, all that shit the same on the new bulbs? maybe you have a false ground somewhere? check for something really stupid like an exposed connector moving around only when you lean the bike, stuff like that. it's usually the dumb stuff that you forget to check that causes it. good luck! these problems are a pain in the ass. also, you may want to have your battery checked at a shop just in case, it might be totally fried and unable to hold a charge. unlikely, but still possible.

thos things can cause the problem even my power is off??.... if my fuses r fawked it wont even start right??
im going to be at home around 8~9 tonite....if it wont start again im going to check alotta shiet u told me to. if it starts.... i guess it was the wire(i wired them)

word of advice....never ever ever ever use e-tape to secure your wiring..just go to home depot and drop down $2 bucks on a box of butt connectors.
Heat+e-tape= unravelling=exposed wires+metal= blown fuse (or worst) when you least would like for it to happen...trust me on this..ive seen this happen many many times..

yea i bought thos cap thing yi to connect and put e'tapes over n zip tite so tapes wont come off.... my bike start fine.
i talk to 1 of my friend and he said i need to ride at least 10~20 minute to charge my battery and that whole week i didnt even ride longer than 5 min b/c i was working on my bike n stuff. all i did was start n shut off for stright 3days n battery died day after. i charged my bike n it started, i went to go ride fremont to san mateo and i guess its fine now... we'll c wassup
thanks for advise

Probably time for you to buy a Battery Tender or something to get the battery to recharge right, or else you won't charge fully. Worse, you might fry your rectifier/regulator down the line.

For $35 at MAW, or $20 for the BT Jr. model, there's no excuse for not owning a charger. At Walmart, they also sell a maintainer for like $20 too.

o yea. i got the battry tender. i charged with battery tender.
i already had this plug thing when i was picking up my bike. so all i had to do was plug in to charge.
but then yea.......we'll c wassup
