2002 f4i, my coolant overflows after ever ride?? like 10 drops or so?? why is that..?? its not to low or too much, just right... but after ever ride it over flows a bit from the hose.

does your fan kick in at all? Next time you ride, pay attention to if the fan kicks in or not.

Of course, if you never reach a temp where the fan would kick in, thne it wont, just in situations when it would kick in, does it?

my fan hasnt reached 244 yet, causes it cold here! =[ i dont think its from the fan or too hot..it just drips..couple drops everytime i ride. from the overflow

What's the level of the fluid in the reservoir relative to the two marks (UPPER and LOWER) when the bike is dead cold (overnight) and on the swingarm stand on level ground?

im sorry guys problem is slved..too much oil... lol..its acually oil instead coolant..wut a dumb ass i am. lol sorry

where is there an oil overflow on your bike? I thought the only way oil can escape from a bike is thru a leak or intentionally thru a drain valve.

:laughing

Exactly how mucky is your radiator fluid if you think oil is radiator fluid. You've either got REALLY clean oil, or SUPER dirty radiator fluid...

lol my oil looks like water.. =] lol... helllllla clean.. so i didnt bother touching it and thought it was coolant. lol...

(OT) 9integra2: on some (or heck maybe all calif.) bikes oil / oil vapors get routed back to the air box for emissions purposes. accumulated oil can drain from there too, sometimes there is a catch tube which may leak, etc. also if the bike is a dry sump then add in that many more potential points of failure ie. every hose and junction, tank filler, drain point, etc.
