i didn't really want to post this pic, because it doesn't represent what trackdays are really about. but 2slow gave me an o.k. and i wanted to show why 2slow is STILL my hero.

this was my first barfer outing and i got to meet some of the peoples. but i'm definately gonna have to make one of the meetings so that i can get one of these high speed, crash proof, super sticky, indestructable barf stickers...

Personally, I believe that there really isn't such a thing as a "good" accident, but the ones you can walk away from come pretty damn close.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to meet a bunch of BARFies at T-Hill, and I did. You are a great group of people and I look forward to hooking up at the next social.

Regarding 2Slow's crash, I was up in the viewing deck when it happened, but I was looking the at the exit of 15 instead of the entrance to 1. I was looking THE WRONG WAY!!! Dang. I didn't hear the crash (no one hears them scream) but I saw a yellow flag come out. After I looked around I could see a bike that had been hucked way, way, WAY, up the hill out of turn 1, and some guy (2Slow) hiking up to check it out. He must have been cookin' because I've never seen a bike so far away from the rider after a crash. His bike was resting above the fire break.

The first session was a crashfest in the Sport group: There were two crashes on turn 11, one on 5, and 2slow in turn 1. I usually wait until the last session to crash '

There are likely to be a bunch of posts about this trackday. I hope they all stay in one place

2 slow that sucks about the bike but im very glad u walked away.

Dude! I am glad to see that you are OK, I remember that you low side at the prior track day too. You sure are a lucky guy as you keep walking away from going down. Glad to hear that you are OK, sorry about the bike.

When I crased, my sticker survived also. Have you sticker toteing BARFer's who have crashed noticed that your stickers always survive? We need to make a bike out of stickers!

Nice indestructable barf sticker, Steve, I want 500 of them to stick all over my bike if nothing will happen to it in a high speed crash like 2slows. I think we all had a great time with many stories to tell on the way there and on the way back

Eddie, that looks like a nasty crash dude, Im GLAD to hear you are ok, the 1 looks totalled....BUT, you have to try to look at the bright side of things, now YOU HAVE to ride the duc!

My crash

Hi guys,
Sorry is took me so long to respone. Well as for me I'm doing alright. I had the doctor check things out and they found no broken bones thank god. I'm just crying in pain, I felt it all the next day. I'm just happy I walk away from that one. Sorry SuperHawk, that wasen't a RUSH .

I try to explain what happen.
In the first session I went out. The first lap was slow very slow, I was thinking ok we're just warming up the tyres no problem. Then second lap came. Wow its still kinda slow, ok I'll just start pasting but at mild past. Coming down to turn 10 there was like 5 bikes stop. I said what the hell is going on here, why you guys stoping. They stop because a guy went wide and went of the track but he didn't crash. After seeing that I started to wonder what group am I at. So I took off. Now I'm coming to the front strait. I start to open it up. An RC51 was in front of me and he was opening it up. I pass him just a little before the tower, now turn one is coming up I went to the far right to set up for the turn. I dive the bike down aiming for the apex. I feel my knees draging and kinda pined to the left fairing. So I slightly move the bike more upright and use more body to get more tracktion. Then all of a sudden the front and back starts to slide. While it was sliding I had time to think, what the hell I'm going to do now. Well I did stay on the gas and I didn't chop it. I slided tell I ran out of track to slide. I slow sided when I hit the dirt and I went tumbling up the hill. The bike went tumbling up the hill also and went up alot higher then I did. People that saw every thing told me that I got up and the bike was still climbing.
One of my big mistake was. The first two lap that I ran was not fast enough to warm up my tyres. I went from doing a 30 or 40mph lap to a 130+mph. not good. Oh by the way that guy on the RC51. I found out later that, that was RC51boy barf member and he saw every thing. I'm hoping he can explain what he saw.

Oh well shit happens. Well I guess I lost all my fans

important thing is you're alright and that you have a backup bike to ride wish i faired as well w/ no broken bones. hey, you can join me and superhawk in the t-hill turn 1 dump club

I'm glad to hear that you came out ok 2Slow , everyone still knows your really fast your not going to lose any of your fans.
Heal up ! and , oh my god, you will have to ride a Duc now, The Horror.
