Max Speed Enforcement day CHP 4-28-26

Speaking of enforcement, I love this.

Stay free Auburn and 49!!!

“The database is confidential. We only share it with California law enforcement agencies for intel.”

Nothing is confidential anymore

Right? And when he says 'we're not surveilling everyone 24/7 we're just looking for criminals and wanted people and the like...'

Which means you ARE surveilling everyone that passes by the camera and checking them against your database 24/7.
BS

These threads just renew my desire to reread "The Pace" by Nick Ienatsh.
Corner speed and control is where the satisfaction lives.
Connecting a series of corners with the precision and control afforded by only motorcycles provides me with a feeling of satisfaction unseen elsewhere.
There is simply nothing like the feeling of lifting a bike off the side of the tire with the throttle.
Top speed shit has nothing to do with it. We can display our superiority without the notion of going to jail.
For me.....that's what it's all about.

Hit 71 on 101 this morning.

Oh yeah... where is that bad thread?

I was so lucky. I finally got my bike fixed and back together and headed out on a 3 hour tour. After detecting the CHP hiding in the traffic lanes, going 60, then tailing me for 5 miles, I finally had some room to breath. I have this notion that breaking the ton has more severe consequences... 71. Yes, CHP was following me going 72. :x

No you absolutely should, because today the roads will be safer with all the CHP out.
Amirite?

I'magunna say no. I've observed that almost every time I see trouble, the cops are there.

my work commute is ~50/50 surface streets and freeway, around 12 miles each way. ran better half home at lunch, all white Charger pulled off on the side of 180W; heading back, 1 moto CHP on 180E, then 2 more on 41N. Leaving work, i had the eye of one of the "specially marked" Durangos, though the antenna farm on the roof is kind of a giveaway.

sighting tally: 5
performance awards: 0

So if there was a competitor to flock who only reported state / government vehicle plates locations in real time ala waze.... you know to make sure you are aware of 'potential hazards' on the road etc...

The laws regarding surveillance might be re-considered maybe?

Oooh. Interesting idea.

I support these max enforcement parties far more that the utter waste of time, money & resources DUI checkpoints produce.

I've spoken with a cop that focuses on traffic enforcement and he says that he uses Waze. When his location is shown, he'll tap 'No longer there'. On the flip side, he'll also report police in areas that they aren't. It's freaking brilliant.

That's right, a society that promotes misinformation and deception is a good one.

Typical Mericun mentality ego and shortsightedness.
