I have 17/38 sprockets,
I do not have a stock engine, it is not 998cc, it is 1060cc
no, this is no fake, all the speedo numbers are different so I could not have duplicated them.

Dunno if Italian speedos are as inaccurate as Japanese ones but my GPS shows 120 mph while my Gixxer600 speedo shows 135 mph. So go back out with a GPS and try again!

I don't think the guy who posted (Sal) was being serious. He's a long time Apriliaforum member who is a little on a sarcastic funny side.

If you check other threads in the apriliaforum, other guys have posted higher speeds, which were obviously errors.

hmmm, it may have been a little off, but these speedo's are very very acurate speedo's, I know I was over 200. these are not R1 speedometers we're talking about, there is the plug pushing into the swingarm sensing the rear wheel. I'd give it +/- 1% accuracy
