you've got to hand it to van damme; not many people would be able to parlay doing the splits into a million dollar career.
 
but i was told that it's not safe to split between trucks

I avoided this thread because I thought it HAD to be silly.... But I'm really impressed. that's really a remarkable level of control by the big trucks. And that's quite a drop should VD have to bail.

he was supported by wires which were removed from the youtube commercial.

a) this seems to be an internet only video
b) it was played on news stations, facebook, twitter, countless forums and other social media
c) it went viral

they got way more marketing value by posting on youtube (free) vs paying broadcast networks for TV spots.

traditional media should be worried(tv, radio, magazines, newspapers, anything non-internet-connected).

social media is where the kid and dollars are at, adults are catching on, and eventually even stodgy products like volvo trucks are advertising on the internet.
 
I just watched Blood Sport the other day. :laughing I was and still am a huge fan of his. Silly movies, but great entertainment. :thumbup Universal Soldier was probably my favorite.
