Is anyone driving up for a day trip Saturday I could car pool with? I'm in the city, but could meet some one in the North or Eastbay.

Was going to drive up Friday with my YZ and camp the night, but its engine is still dissassembled in the garage awaiting parts AND its going to be below freezing at night. My camping gear just isnt good enough for that cold of weather. Yeh, I am old :afm199

Considered riding up the XR650L for a baja shakedown, but I seem to have missplaced my winter riding gloves last Saturday night in a Jager haze......
 
alright. im taking off from work now. ill have my cell in about 40 minutes if you guys need to get a hold of me

Boingers installed on the two-fiddy. If I had more time/daylight I would consider packing up and rolling out tonight. I think I'll pack at a leisurely pace tomorrow morning and leave after rush hour. Soooooo stoked!
 
I had planned on leaving tonight, but I'm in a holding pattern right now. My little red-headed calico has been sick and I've been having to feed her with a syringe for the last few days. She is at the vet as I type, they're trying to figure out why she won't eat. Eric is sick and wouldn't be coming anyway, so I thought he could stay home and take care of her but I don't want to be out of cell range should she take a turn for the worse or whatever. I'm hoping to salvage at least a day of riding with you all. I will know more tomorrow :(

I hope that it ends up being something which isn't too serious. I completely understand the holding pattern. I lost my kitteh earlier this year while I was on a work trip. :(

I hope to see you, but you need to do what you need to do. :(
 
Woodschick, hoping to meet you but moreover I hope that your old kitty fares well over the weekend...get her on some steroids to boost that appetite!

Oof...I'm sorry you lost your kitty. I would absolutely die if anything were to happen to her while I was off dirt riding. I got her 12 years ago Thanksgiving and I love her more than I'd care to admit on this gnarly biker forum :(

Keep your fingers crossed for me, boys and girls! I love Stony, and I'm not afraid of snow and cold temps.

She's been on prednisolone for asthma for years. A B12 shot helped for one night but the next day it was back to water and tuna juice only. She's lost weight, too :(

Hey BARF riders,

I'm friends with GirlScout and she wanted me to post on here to let ya'll know we'll be in Stony this weekend too! We'll be heading up tomorrow morning and had initially planned on camping at Davis Flats. Do you have room for a couple more SBR refugees?
 
I'm leaving around 10:00 tomorrow morning. I need to find someplace on the way to get fuel and propane, but I expect to be there early afternoon.

Hmm...this could work if I'm able to go :)
I'd want to leave early, and I'd be piloting the Pleasure Palace. I won't know til tomorrow, though :(
