Throwing any sense of morality to the wind, KFC is clogging arteries once again with a hot dog encased in a “bun” of fried chicken, dubbed the Double Down Dog. Thankfully/unfortunately, the Double Down Dog is only available in the Philippines, meaning getting your mouth on one will mean taking a lengthy trip.

I just got back from the Philippines last week. I didn't see any signs or marketing stuff about it.
I don't what to think of what kind of heart burn that abomination would give me.

It is probably not a test martket for food to be sold here. You understand that KFC is a massive global competitor. I think they might actually be bigger in Asia now than they are in the USA. Besides, c'mon, mang, ju ain never been ta Jollibee?
 
People do not understand how popular KFC MC D and those places are in the Philippines. Its crazy how much people their love their "American" fast food.

Can solve that by just ordering a large side of mashed potatoes and gravy. Now you have a proper meal. Gonna have to try that this week.

Yeah, I'm waiting for Canuckerific, ya know??? Making it fancy is exactly what I don't want. I just wanna taste it the way they like. It would be like going to Tennessee and having quail and quinoa waffles instead of the expected formula. (Full disclosure: I really never did stop and have chicken and waffles whilst there, visiting my brother, but bigawd they have tons of franchises).
