I warmed to it slowly until if figured out the future Count was the guy who was named Captain of the ship at the start of the series.

It has proven to be excellent; I'm about half way through.

Its on Prime. Strikes me as pretty good, though I find the recent time shift parallels to copy Sheridan style a bit. Wish they were a bit less dramatic, but Curtis and Kidman produce so not likely to happen.

I watched it. There are flashbacks in the books, so I guess the show just mimics them. Having read the books, I’m having a hard time accepting Kidman as Scarpetta. The guy who plays Marino, though, is spot on as far as what I saw in my mind’s eye. Having his real life son playing the younger Marino is brilliant. Jamie Lee Curtis plays her role as the icky sister perfectly!

FYI, the judge who swears in the young Kay Scarpetta is Patricia Cornwell.
 
Just saw “Purple Rain”; not a Prince fan but the dude had talent.
Decent flik though lots of shortcomings for a film snob.

And the Hondamatic! A pal had one of those back in the day.
 
The Madison! Family disjunction and grief so very eloquently captured.
 
Something Very Bad is Going to Happen was a pretty fun watch
 
I could not sleep, so I started watching "Crime 101". I watched about 45 minutes so far, but it is really good.
 
Perhaps the cat is sick? My beautiful tom cat is 19 and moving towards the end of life. He’s very needy at 4AM. :cry

Was a great movie...Enjoyed it.
Loved the ending.

I know that I'm late, but I just started watching "Friends and Neighbors on Apple. It is really awesome.
Daventura- Yes, I finished that movie. It was great. Now, check out "Send Help".
 
I watched "Hotel Mumbai" on Netflix over the past couple days. About the attack on Mumbai and the Taj Hotel in 2008.

Harrowing to say the least.

The writer was allowed access to recordings of some of the cell phone conversations that they used to great effect in the movie.
 
If anybody is a fan of The Boys, first 2 episodes of this season are available. Haven't watched them yet but just wanted to throw that out there.

Just watched the first two episodes of the new The Boys season, this season should be interesting.

Lately - also binged Slow Horses and enjoyed it. Pluribus was solid. Trying to remember what else of note I’ve been watching.
 
watched Godless and American Primeval. Both shows are Westerns with lots of horses. Great are they both.
wait is that even a sensical sentence?
