Lyra and Leo are 12 years old now… Lyra is recovering from a drug resistant UTI which included a couple days at the pet hospital. MedVet on Santa Theresa. They were very good, though it cost a couple bucks.

Overnight stays seem to be pricey. We had Gracie in for a couple of days as well. The real nit was that she probably only need 2 nights, but stayed 3 because one was a Sunday, and they're closed.

It is what it is, but, just...well, you know.

Speaking of that, has anyone tried pet insurance?

Any luck with it? "Worth it"? I haven't really explored it. But getting the CC hammered suddenly certainly makes you go "hmm".

I started using FIGO insurance after two big vet bills last year. It's been pretty good--I can even get reimbursed for flea meds once the deductible is paid and that process has been very easy.
