There's a place to go fast like that. It's called the track. Can't see the point of risking someone else's life like that. I like to ride very fast but I save it for track days. Much safer and much more fun. He won't make it to 60 if keeps it up. Now he's lost his license.

Us street riders wear gear because if we should crash we OFTEN are able to negotiate the situation until our bike slows below 25 mph then the gyroscopic forces of the bike stop and the bike falls over. I've seen this a dozen times and even experienced it.

I had no idea that Joe, the rider in question, is a BARFer. I hope he tells us how his situation "plays out."

Breaking the speed limit, and crossing the double yellow...isn't for everyone.

It can be done wrong...Very Wrong....or it can be done right, and out of sight.

That's the question...is the rider a dumb ass...or one that knows where they are, and what they can do.
