Photos from Trip from SF to Vancouver

Some of my buds and I recently took a trip from San Francisco up the 101 to Vancouver, then west in BC a bit and then back down South hitting Lassen, Crater Lake, Mount Hood and some other really awesome spots. Ended up being about 3000 miles in 10 days. It was a great trip - here are some photos in case you're interested....

I'll be riding from SF to Vancouver in late September. You took 101 all the way? Did you get stuck behind a lot of slow tourists? Any advice? Which border crossing, and was there much of a delay getting in or out?

We did take 101 all the way up.

101 gets a little congested once you get out of California - it's kinda like riding through Pacifica for many, many miles.

Oregon was VERY cold and foggy, so make sure to bring layers or warm clothing.

We actually planned to Cross the Border by taking the ferry to Vancouver Island from Port Angeles, but the ferry was full and the next one was wasn't for another 6 hours (get reservations!) so we ended up riding to Port Townsend and crossing the ferry there.

There wasn't much of a delay at the border... we ended up crossing on the 539.
