Had a week - rode East

So Last Saturday I left on a little ride. Didn't get on the road until 1 PM or so, late start, so I only made it to Fallon, NV before I decided to call it quits for the night. Second day I booked over and up through Nevada and Idaho and stayed in Idaho Falls. Idaho was the first in a long line of no helmet law states. Here's a little shot of some canyon in Idaho...Eel River I think, no, wait, Snake River! Yeah, pretty sure it was snake river...there were people bungie jumping from a bridge over this, looked fun!

So next day I rode the rest of the way through Idaho, through a small corner of Montana, and into Wyoming. Yellowstone to be exact. My mission was to find bears! I rode around Yellowstone ALL DAY and didn't see a single bear. I was sad! hahaha, no, actually Yellowstone is very cool, so much wildlife! Here's some Elk.

Old Faithful...I almost felt obligated to see it. It was cool, but there's lots of other cool things to see and do in Yellowstone too. My recommendation, if it's due to spout off within 15 minutes of your arrival, wait for it. If not, go see some sights instead!

Road construction out of the park, I got to ride on this for a few miles, wasn't fun! Was glad to get back on pavement at the end of it

I was bored riding east through Wyoming, so I started snapping pics of myself while doing 90 on the freeway

So I made a stop in Sturgis. It's a hole! They are selling all of the left over shirts from the rally, 5 for $30. So I have a conversation that goes like this:
Me: So I want two shirts, that's 6 bucks each right? 12 dollars?
Her: No, it's 5 for $30.
Me: But I only want two...how about I give you $15 for 2?
Her: Ummm...well, why don't you get 3 and I'll give it to you for $30

hahaha, so instead of getting 5 for 30, she was offering me the once in a lifetime deal of 3 for 30 instead. I ended up buying 5. Anyway after Sturgis, it was off to Rushmore.

Now Rushmore was kinda boring, but the hills around there had some good riding, here's a side shot of big George.

So after leaving south dakota I stayed in Wyoming for the night. Next day booked all the way down and out of Wymoing, through Colorado and into Utah. The next day I had to get my tire changed which is a story in itself and then it was off to Vegas...the promised land for 2 nights of gambling gambling gambling. All of the sudden it was hot where the rest of my trip the weather was great! Anyway Vegas was last stop, came home from there.
