Vegas! it was....well, an experience. For a while now, a bunch of people were talking about going to Las Vegas and with my recent job here in Vegas, I offered up my place as a crash spot.

This first photo says it all....Freddo, drove up from L.A. with his buddy just to make the party on Saturday. We went to Haufbrahaus and drank. I'll start from the beginning after this, but I thought this photos was particularly symbolic of the entire weekend. fuck me, was it long. Freddo was the righteous champeeeeon!

So Thursday morning, a couple of folks got the day off and decided to ride down to Las Vegas, and get the Labor day weekend started early, and well they should.

Dub713, Calyel and Antibling, packed up their things and tried to get a good nights rest on wed. night.

On Thursday morning, they got up early and rode out to the meet point in Livermore, at the Starbucks. meet time was 06:15. Dub arrived at 06:42, well, it didn't look like they were going to leave early. this would continue. Antibling met up with Calyel in Mtn. View and they rode to the Starbucks. it was dark at this time, so they hadn't seen "the problem" yet.

Well, while at *$"s, Bryan noticed some black stuff all over the rear of his bike, and all over the side of the bike, and on his pants.....after removing the seat, he realized that his oil cap had popped off, and had spewed about all the oil contents on the entire rear of the bike......fuck! he thought it was the morning dew, or moisture making his rear tire slick. and unable to see it in the dark, well, you get the rest. well, shit, gotta clean it. I get a txt msg at 0645 telling me what's happened and that they aren't leaving anytime soon.

here is bryan, with the toilet paper they bought at the gas station...CLEAN IT beeoootch!

wiping it down would not suffice, so time to degrease the beast...off to find a car wash spot....

finally, after removing all the oil off the tire, and checking it twice. wiping the bike down, and checking the oil cap again. they are ready to ride.....FINALLY!!!! (the oil cap is a only on with pressure, like the harleys, no real issue, unless you forget to push it down all the way.

)

okay, okay, this is moto photos after all....so the trio moved on and down into the central valley for a taste of the heat to come in Las Vegas. Then up and over Yosemite N.P. and down to Lee Vinning for some lunch. here are some photos of that section...
