600 miles in 48 hours
Looks like opting out of the Skaggs ride worked pretty well for me... oh the twisties, the scenery, the fresh air...
Story to come later... I also came a few inches from picking up the dump trophey... Oh yeah, break in period is done. I left with a tad over 600 miles and came back home Sunday night with 1200!!! 120 left lots of room to play with that full powerband as a bonus! During the whole trip... 1 CHP, 1 Bridgeport Police, 2 Yoemitie Rangers. Day 0 - 8:30pm ~50 miles to CV. Day 1 - depart noon - 150 miles to the moutains northeast of Sonora. Day 2 - depart 9am - 400 miles returning home at 9pm. ![]() Last edited by infrandom; 06-03-2002 at 06:19 PM.. |

Going up the Sonora pass... climbs about 2500 feet in a few miles. Other than a few specks of gravel, snow covered shoulders and some steep dropoffs, and cold cold temps.. this road was very nice!

At the top... the way down on the backside is even a steeper grade! Thanks to the warning from the hardcore skiers we met. They hike up these moutains just to ski down, no one told them "ski season" is over.
