We had lunck at the infamous Mama's Cafe. This is where most of the racers for the Baja 1000 (and other races) eat. There are pics all over the inside of various drivers, cars, trucks, and bikes.

We found this bike near the Generators that power the hotel in Catavena. I like the battery location.

This is the gas station between Catavena and Loretto. This guy just sits there and waits for people to show up and pay twice what you would pay at a Pemex. Oh well, I would not of been able to make it to the next gas stop so you pay what you have to pay I guess.

Ok, here we are at the next gas stop. We just got done doing 120+ (which is easy to do down there) and come flying up on this gas station. We pulled up to the pump and no sooner did we take off our helmets the Policia pulled up. We thought for sure we were busted. But, they were across the street watching Little League soccer and baseball games and just wanted to come over and check out our bikes. Definatly, a pucker factor 10+. They ended up being really nice and even asked us to wheelie when we left.
