My 1st Trip of '04 - BARF

My best buddy, CBR929reh, and I decided to go for a ride on Saturay. We planned on going to Eureka, but opted to turn around at Jenner. Our route was 101 N. form E.P.A., then cross the GG Bridge, to Sir Fracis Drake Blvd to Hwy 1 N.
Unfortunately CBR's 'nice$$' camera had dead batteries, so we had to rely on my cheapo camera. And, I'm a very bad photographer. So, we did not take a ton of pictures.

One of the cool things about the stop at the GG Br Vista point, was talking with the tourist. Roger and I met this Mother and Daughter who were visiting from Texas and they are both m/c riders!!! We bs'd for a few minutes and that REALLY made my day. I enjoy meeting nice people. The ride was cool too...
Here's CBR at the 'bay' adjacent to Hwy 1 (across from the Marconi Center). This looks like a nice spot to do some fishing, any know if the fishing is any good?

I do not know why, but I just love cows!! They look like big dogs and I like it when they let me pet them!!

I have no idea as to why these "Honduuhhh" riders get so pissed about the littlest things.... just because I wanted to pet EVERY one of ther cows- he (CBR929reh) started calling me names and threatening to leave....

He had enough of my being excited about the cows and he got tired of hearing me yell "hey Roger!!!!, Look at the Cows-look at ther cows-look at the cows!!!!"
The reason that there is no picture here- is because a certain sourpuss left me behind and continued N on Hwy 1.

I, being a Kawi rider, was able to catch him in a just a couple of minutes

The rest of the trip was fun too. We continued North on hwy 1 to Jenner, then took hwy 116 through Guerneville. I tried to find the Korbel Winery and buy a few bottles of their good Champagne, but "Mr Grumpy" was getting hungry, so we continued on to Sebastapol where we found a small deli and had lunch.
We slabbed it on the way home via 101 South. By the time we got into SF, my butt was killing me- so we stopped at the Starbucks on Chestnut St. .
CBR, suggested that I; A) Buy a Corbin seat, or, B) Wear bicycle riding pants under my gear to help protect my butt. I told him that I think that my m/c seat is fine, but, I just have to get in shape for long distance riding. I know that I could never be a "IronButt" rider, but I hope to be able to log more miles w/o stopping ever hour.
CBR rides his bicycle on a regular basis, and he did fine.- I need to start doing more physical stuff to be able to be a "real" Sport Tourer.

Yes, I ordered a Leo Vince Ultra High Mount from Ron @ PipeCity.com. That was about 1 month ago and I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
They said that it would take 5-6 days to arrive, but 1 week after ordering it, they called to tell me that it was NOT in stock, and it would take 4-6 weeks to be shipped from Europe!!!
So, I'm still waiting.
