2 countries, 5 states, 2500 miles... one week - BARF

Back from the road trip.. no accients or tickets. Went from Santa Cruz to south of Seattle, Victoria BC, Boise, and back.

Almost got busted in Oregon because of their incredably low speed limits. Was out in the middle of nowhere southeast OR and had passed one state tropper. Well thinking that must be it for the area I sped back up and just a few minutes later who crests the hill I'm heading up? Another damn statie... At an indicated 90, chop the throttle, stomp on the rear brake and slowed to and indicated 78. Wasn't sure what he clocked me at because of the angle we were at, but I was definitely above the 55mph limit posted. He went by and I saw his brake lights come on, but fortunetly he never showed up behind me.

Love the bike, but that was the last long road trip I'm doing on it. Just shy of 33,000 miles now.

Got boring after here. Had some nice high speed sweepers that kept me entertained, until I hit the straight roads

Near my grandparent's place... go hunting up in these hills. Lot of hang gliders in the area by the lake, just not on this day.

My niece and I. She really wanted a ride so I took her around the block. No helmet laws in Idaho, strange sight to see.

Thought I might get rained on in Oregon coming back, only got wet enough to clean my visor. Did get dumped on heading to Boise going over the Blue mtns. Fun road heading up the hills! 3 lanes wide, turns recommended at 45 taken around 90-100 indicated... lots of fun.

Advice to those who go on long trips: Wear lots of padding under your pants! Damn did my ass hurt!!!
