~Baja ride pics~ - BARF

Rickey and I spent the week in Mexico with two of my uncles and their 2 friends. Rickey and I were on our bikes, my uncle and his friend were on their Harleys, and the others in a car.

We went to Rickeys friends house on sunday, dinner at Hooters, then into Mexico on Monday to the Rosarito Beach Hotel. 2 nights there, then to Ensenada to hook up with my cousin and watch the baja1000 start.
It was amazing, those "trucks" were friggen outa control powerful. Were walked up the track a bit and waited for them to come flying by, and boy did they.

After that we went to a "trailer park" between Ensenada and Rosarito to stay at a place on the beach. It was a dump, but the scenery and weather made up for it.
Then back to LA friday morning, dinner at my fav place, and home.

It was a blast, I cant wait to go back again sometime soon.

of course we had to play, at night we grabbed a bunch of firecrackers and woke up the hotel.........them damn M80's were crazy loud, louder than last time. but it wasnt enough, so we grabbed an M3000, put it on a pole facing the hotel, we could actually see the shockwave from it.

the roads were beautiful, not very trustworthy, but with no speed limit or cops, who cares.

we all had a nice Lobster dinner at Puerto Nuevo, just down the road from the Fox baja studios (were they filmed Titanic and others).

since it was a quiet afternoon, not many people, the restaraunts were practically giving it away. My uncles got'm down to a $10 meal, including the lobster, rice, beans, tort's, a margarita, a shot of tequila, chips, salsa, and all the guac we could eat.
It was unbelievable.

that night we went to Hussongs bar. they had a special 2 margaritas for 2.75, they kept coming and coming, everyone but me got wasted. and so the 30 minute walk back the hotel was interesting with the constant Mikey chant going on.

we walked up a bit and waited...then they came. 1 minute apart, screaming by sideways........the dust was thick after each one.
