Sarah, this one's terrific. I know it's Death Valley, but do you know specifically where this was taken?

Thanks! That one was taken on the way back from Beaty heading into the valley after you come out of the Funeral mts. on HWY 374.

Awesome! My son and I and a bunch of others camped at Panamit Springs a couple of years ago, but we weren't on bikes. My son said that when we both had bikes, he wanted to go back. So we are going in April. Hopefully, it won't be too hot yet.

Ha! That is what I was going to guess. There is a canyon between Beatty and Death Valley, that you just came through, then the road drops in to Death Valley and the speed can build if you let it. Got to watch for CHP on the Cali side and County Sherrifs on the Nevada side. One of those crafty Nevada guys got me once as I crested a hill. Glad he didn't see me on the other side. There are a few curves out there and a couple of canyons, like the one leading to Zabriskie Point, however most of those roads will put a hurt down the center of your back tire if you give in to the urge to see how far the speedo really goes. Nice pictures. Makes me want to go there again.
