That's usually how I do it. Gotta make sure you have something rigid like a two-by-four to bungee cord to so it doesn't flop around.

I see. You must have one of those kinks where you actually get off on getting kicked in the balls over and over.

You just bought the automotive equivalent of that experience. Congrats…I think?

Some people gamble in Vegas, some people gamble with off road vehicles

I bought it from an independent repair shop where the amount of service that was done to it right before sale is pretty much equivalent to what I paid for it.

You sir are a gambler indeed. A supercharged Range is damn nice though when everything is sorted.

There was a shop I knew of that all they did was Jag and Land Rover. Did you buy it from Cerrones European?

The truck is super nice. They did the timing chain replacement, new fluids, new filters, new lower control arms and new brakes (I know they did pads for sure but I think rotors too). Also a bunch of little stuff like bad struts on the hood and rear hatch.

Like I said, I pretty much paid for a full Range Rover refresh and got the truck for free.

With no crossbars, so it would be scratching the paint and possibly denting the roof. Even if he had crossbars think of how short the roof area is compared to the length of the pipe. They'd be flapping around like they were ready for takeoff (looks like ABS to me not black iron). I suppose the solution to that would be to tie it off to the rear bumper and the hood. Or, you know, just strap it to the side like he did.

Those ARE crossbars. They're stowed north-south but it takes seconds to pop out east-west as needed. I have the same ones on my truck.

I'll take your word for it. I don't own a taco and from the pic I don't see any crossbars over the cab of your truck, but I guess they're just not deployed. A lot of vehicles used to just come with the rails and the crossbars were an option.

Works like this.

Mine whistle when they're deployed so I keep them stowed.
