New dirty bike for me!

So last year I bought a Husqvarna te310r ( dual sport) from a fellow barfer to get in the dirt with the wife.
Didn't take long and I decided dirt was fun again! ( broke my back in 2008 and couldn't take the pounding at the time).
So after every trip out I made changes to my bike making it more dirt worthy...
Then, some basttard let me ride a new ktm 300xcw ....Fook it was good!
So , old 310 sold, new te300i replacement !
Only rode around the property so far but looking forward to heading to the hills.

Fuckin A! I was riding a 2002 kx250 and wish I would habe tried one of these new 2 strokes sooner. Carb or FI, they are just so damn refined for a 2 stroke.

They are light and they can lug! Just so damn easy to ride

Cool is it a red sticker? I've gotten to ride a new Sherco 300 smoker and it was really good, just throw it around no problem. I'd imagine this is probably similar.

2021, last of the red sticker. The areas we ride red sticker is year round so no Issue for me.
What cracked me up was the wife's old KLX 140 was a red sticker bike as well.

Interesting my KLX140 always been a green sticker.

Are you not worried that you won't be allowed to ride it after the red sticker program goes away? From what I understand they won't let you ride them anymore unless you are racing at least in California.

That applies to the 2022 models.
That is why every one and their brother bought two strokes this year.
My wife's KTM XCW had to come from Oklahoma as all others closer were sold out.
My 2021 red sticker will turn to a green sticker in the future.

Try using the second grey throttle cam they provide - quicker turn and much better snap to get the front over logs. Adjusting the power valve just a bit also helps.

These are excellent trail bikes.

Congrats, I have the 2020 300XCW. Absolute life changer. Honestly, I never changed any factory settings. It does everything I need it to. Now that I've had it over a year and paid it off, I might consider doing that throttle mod. I'm scared to mess with the power valve though. Bike is extremely robust and reliable (knock on wood) as it is.
