Say what you will about any of their previous albums, but the one they did with Lou Reed is utter fucking garbage. Indisputable crap. They all need a kick in the nutz for that one. Cliff is spinning in his grave.

Never heard it. I'm a fan of velvet underground, but I've hear smoothing but the fact that the new album is the worst thing ever

Sorry... Too much time reading TvTropes.

I actually heard one of the band members say that in an interview years ago. I was already disinterested in their music, but to basically come right out and say that you sold out for the crowd, well, nothing more to say.

It was Hetfield in a "Behind the Music" episode.

Quite frankly I respect the ability of Bands to try new things and change their sound if they want to. Some of my favorite punk/ska/skacore type bands seem a little silly putting out teen angst albums when they are 45 years old.

He must be contemplating the new cool things Metallica have been experimenting with.

(Best attempt at making it a comic, posting on a tablet)

So you are telling me that if 30-50k fans payed to go to your concert, that you wouldn't give them exactly what they expected so that they would pay to go to it again?

Every band I go to I want them to sell out to me... play the songs I want to hear, and play them excellently. I want cover songs of genres outside their realm done in a fashion I consider better then the original.

I am uber Simspon's savvy. This one escapes me. Perhaps post season 10? I just don't get it.
