I know there the folks out there that are huge fans of Lighthouses and make a point to visit all of them. After spending a bit of time at this one, I understand the draw and fascination which these massive structures.

Stomachs growled, and we stopped at a great restaurant in Elk, The Roadhouse, which is built into the corner of an actual auto mechanic shop that seems to be something out of the 1950's with it's quonset hut style design. It's basic, simple, and less than fancy complete with the Gay American flag. The stripes are rainbow instead of red and white. Nice touch. The food of course, was great. Highly recommended.

That middle bay is where you drive your vehicle into the building to get worked on. Just this corner is the tiny restaurant.
