I received a private message from a user, but when I tried to reply encountered this error:

Any tips/tricks around this (short of posting publicly trying to get their attention to turn PMs back on)? It's kind of weird to allow sending PMs while receiving is disabled.

Or could it have something to do with my account being new?

It's their settings, as far as I know. You can send them an email through BARF--different than a PM. Have you tried that?

I would like to suggest/request an enhancement to BARF/vBulletin.

This enhancement would be that when you click on a post it takes you to the newest unviewed reply in that thread.
If you haven't viewed the thread before it takes you to page 1, post 1.
If you have viewed the thread before, clicking on the post takes you to the newest reply, that you haven't viewed, and allows you to continue on from there.

Such a time saving setting versus trying to remember which page on which post you left off at when viewing threads.
This is how it works on several other vBulletin powered sites I visit.
I'm sure it's just a tweaking of the settings in vBulletin. Or the addition of a few lines of HTML.

If the suggestion is determined to be a worthy improvement and assistance is needed for this tweak please PM me to be put in touch with a person who has done this on vBulletin.

If this is in the wrong area of BARF please move it to proper location.

CAn someone repost how to embed vids please? It seems like the sticky was made using photobucket and I'm too tech challenged to figure it out. kthxbye

PS: If you use Chrome, there is an extension that will make the pictures hosted by Photobucket still show up. It still works for me, I could see the embedded images in that thread. http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums...4&postcount=62

I will start using that tool.

What I was requesting in my post was to have this done "automatically" when you click on "any" post. If you've been in it, it takes to the last viewed post. If not you go to the first post in the thread.
I know. Enhancement. Probably not desired as there is a "shortcut" key to do what "could" be done automatically.

Does a magic button exist that I can press to delete all the subscribed threads I have and to stop being subscribed to threads I post in?
