Can you give us a primer on how Dubstep is different than any other Electronic music I enjoy?

After reading this thread I pulled up a whole bunch of it, and don't hear a difference.

Well give me some of the stuff you listen to for comparison. There any may sub genres of Dubstep. Many I like, many I don't.

I bought a car (from a BARFer) that had a pretty solid stereo setup and he left a CD with a few dubsteppish albums on it in MP3. I've been blasting that for the last few weeks and its pretty cool. My last car had the CD changer full of big band, 50's/60's doo-wop and classical. I'll rock out to whatever.

Apparently the Brits call this more aggro American flavor brostep, but the music suits me just fine. Especially when it turns my car into a rolling massage chair.

- rusko

There's definetly other ones. I'm also on soudcloud. They got some really good stuff. I love throwing on my dre bets and bumping dubstep.
