Thanks bronto. I go to livermore all the time for trap shooting, but I thought their rifle ranges were only 100. I'll ask about it next time.

Ferk, I've outgrown my Browning ProSteel. Wonder if I can talk the missus into letting me get another gun safe?

I have a GP100, and a 627 too - identical to the one you like, but with a different barrel. I can bring them to an after-work shoot, prolly Tues or Thur (gotta check with my executive admin).

I think all the Costco's got a few in once it's part of the coupon deal. I know the Coleman and Almaden stores had them.
Some of the Calgun's people just like to complain about everything. Like "It has no relockers " but the ones that did buy them seem to be liking them. I was going to buy a Stack-On but this one was a much better deal.

I have my eye on the Hogue Lamo Camo with no finger grooves:

Yes - I know it's on a S&W, but you get the idea and they make it for the GP100.

I still have the stock grips on my GP100; I like 'em just fine.

Yep, I like the stock grips just fine.

As a heads up, the Vacaville Sam's Club has aluminum rifle cases for 20 bucks. I paid $99 for the same case last year. They are flight legal double rifle with wheels.

I just picked up the safe and moved it upstairs in to my apartment. Pretty nice for $350 really.

That's how much the double door Stack-On cabinet I was considering would have cost. This is a way better solution for the price.

Almaden Costco only had 1 more left after I got mine. Some other guy was buying one too. Not sure if they had more in the back or on the rafters though.

My next case is going to be an Eagle Discreet case 40".

I have two dosko sport plastic, double gun cases, and they are kind of annoying to use.

OK, thanks to the thread move, I'm playing catchup. (Thank you, guides ...)

First of all ... does Mike T still lack any toys? Mike, have I asked you how long you've been planning on buying an M1A? I could give you a good price, but it'd go up every month. You do get a pass on USPs.

Dude, I've been thinking the same thing. A couple of Single Action Army's would be pretty awesome.

Yup. All the guns in Mexico are coming from the US? They need to face the fact that the only guns that are difficult to purchase in Mexico are the guns being purchased legally. The guys that are sitting on keys of coke, meth, heroin, and pot have access to whatever they want.
Please remember that everything is the US's fault. The drug lords in Mexico and other countries can only procure weapons from the American civilian-legal market at this time. We are supposed to throw away our rights because drug lords would then not choose to ... wait, be forced to do other illegal things.
